Following ONE Friday Fights 47, ONE Championship wasn’t done with martial arts action on Friday, as the promotion returned to Amazon’s Prime Video platform for ONE Fight Night 18.
Originally expected to feature a flyweight kickboxing title fight between Superlek Kiatmuu9 and Elias Mahmoudi as its main event, Mahmoudi withdrawing resulted in Superlek being moved to ONE Championship’s upcoming return to Tokyo. In its place, a mixed martial arts contest between Shamil Gasanov and Oh Ho Taek headlines ONE Fight Night 18.
MMA, kickboxing, and Muay Thai were all to be featured on the night, marking the first of 12 expected Prime Video events for ONE in 2024. Among the other names on the card, South Korea’s Kwon Won Il looked for his third straight win.
