A pair of UFC veterans faced off in the main event of Friday’s Cage Warriors 159, with ex-flyweight title challenger Wilson Reis facing Trevin Jones in bantamweight action.
Four years removed from the end of his UFC stint, Reis was on a three-fight win streak coming into the bout in San Diego, CA. All of those wins had come under the Cage Warriors banner, with the 38-year old Brazilian competing in both London and San Diego in that span.
Trevin “Five Star” Jones was competing for the first time since exiting the UFC off a loss to Cody Garbrandt at UFC 285 this past March — and looking to snap a four-fight skid in the process.
