Cage Fury FC is back in action at the Parx Casino in Philadelphia, PA on Friday, September 1, 2023 with CFFC 123 — topped by a featherweight title fight.
A proving ground if you will for up-and-coming talent, CFFC had helped produce stars like Anthony Smith, Dan Miller, Jim Miller, Pat Sabatini, and Aljamain Sterling over the years. Friday’s card featured champ Jose Perez looking to defend his 145lb title against Chris Vasil, and perhaps earn himself a shot at the big leagues himself.
And hey, currently suspended by All Elite Wrestling (again), there was even a chance that CM Punk might be back on commentary, in the analyst roll he has served in when not performing in the ring.
Also on the card, Kelvin Sterling, brother of former UFC bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling, returned to action.
CFFC 123: Perez vs. Vasil takes place Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Parx Casino in Philadelphia, PA, airing live on UFC Fight Pass. The preliminary card kicks off at 7PM ET, with the main card getting underway at 9PM. Full results can be found below.
