Prediction: We get a fighter like Pajuelo every season. Last season we got Trevor Peek, Season five had Genaro Valdéz, and season four had Jacob Silva. Meaning Pajuelo is a fighter limited in skills but prides himself on toughness. I do like Ring much more as a prospect as his ceiling is undoubtedly higher. This is way too soon for him though as I did not expect to see him on the Contender Series at least till season nine.
Ring is 15-0 combined as a pro and amateur but hasn’t fought anyone good high level. Pajuelo has fought just as bad competition so they both are untested. The difference is Pajuelo is going to war with his guys and Ring is dominating. Ring may not be the best striker but he doesn’t have to be against Pajuelo. Ring should be able to take this fight down at will. The only concern for Ring is if he gasses out. I like Ring in this fight because if he’s any good at all it’s a fight he should take.
