ONE Championship was back in Bangkok, Thailand’s famed Lumpinee Stadium on Friday with ONE Friday Fights 29, featuring the now-familiar format of Mauy Thai in 4oz gloves, with a sprinkling of MMA and kickboxing action as well.
On the MMA side of things, ONE Championship standout Agilan Thani, a former ONE welterweight champion, returned to action against Magomedmurad Khasaev. The Malaysian former champ had picked up a win in his last outing, and was looking to distance himself from a three-fight skid that had lasted from 2020 until Spring of 2022.
In the main event, WBC Muay Thai world champion Isaac Araya was paired up with multi-time Muay Thai champ Seksan Or Kwanmuang.
