U.K. based Cage Warriors was in Rome, Italy on Saturday for a stacked Cage Warriors 158 card, topped by a flyweight title fight.
That fight sees Michele Martignoni go up against champion Shaj Haque, with Martignoni looking to claim his second Cage Warriors title. Last year, “The Italian Thunder” claimed the promotion’s bantamweight belt, defeating Dominique Wooding to do so. Martignoni later vacated the championship.
Champion Haque sits on a five-fight win streak for his part, and will be looking to defend his flyweight title for the first time since claiming it last December.
Cage Warriors 158: Rome takes place on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Fiera Roma in Rome, Italy. Both the preliminary and main cards of the event air on UFC Fight Pass, with the early fights getting underway at 11:30AM ET. Full results from the event can be found below.
