The featherweight title was on the line when LFA 163 touched down at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas on Friday, July 21, 2023.
The promotion’s vacant 145lb championship was up for grabs between Elijah Johns (brother of current UFC star Miles Johns) and Javier Garcia, a six-fight LFA veteran who had previously competed for Combate Global.
Both fighters had won their last two, with Garcia’s most recent win coming over UFC veteran Albert Morales.
While the main event was a go without issue, three fighters missed weight for Friday night’s card at Thursday’s weigh-in. As a result, all of Johnny Hopper, Matheus Pereira, and Angel Alvarez would be coughing up a portion of their fight purses to their respective opponents.
The LFA 163 main card gets underway at 9PM ET on UFC Fight Pass. Full results from the event can be found below.
