Bryan Battle Interview (1:17)
Kicking off this edition of TTP is our interview with UFC welterweight, Bryan Battle. Battle discusses all that he walked away from the Rinat Fakhretdinov fight having learned. While some of that was physical – much of it was mental. He digs into the finer points of why he thinks that’ll be so vital to his career in the long run. He also talks about the UFC champion that was the biggest influence on his career and how excited he is to get the chance to fight in front of the home fans at UFC Charlotte – which was something he didn’t even know when he signed the contract.
Fights, Dogs, and Parlays: UFC Charlotte (19:46)
After the big pay-per-view last week, the UFC stays on the road for UFC Charlotte. The fight card is headlined by a pair of heavyweights, Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Jailton Almeida. It’s a chance for the hot prospect to make a jump up at the expense of a division stalwart. Plus, we also have Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker throwing down. We’ll break down both of those fights and some others as well. Plus, as always, we’re giving you an underdog and a parlay that we think will make your wallet fat this weekend. For this segment, all odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.
Gabe Green Interview (29:25)
Closing out this edition of TTP is our interview with UFC welterweight, Gabe Green. Green will face off with our earlier guest, Bryan Battle at UFC Charlotte. Like Battle, Green discusses the growth of his game following his first loss in some time. Similarly, he took away some pieces that weren’t entirely physical. Plus, he shares his view not just on Battle, but on his orginal opponent, Jake Matthews – who unfortunately had to drop out of the fight card with an injury.
