ONE Championship was set to make its U.S. debut this Friday, and one Thursday, the ONE Fight Night 10 weigh-ins went down ahead of the Broomfield, Colorado-based show.
The main event of the promotion’s coming out party stateside was topped by Demetrious Johnson, throwing down with Adriano Moraes in the rubber match of their trilogy. And yes, the full ONE Championship Global Ruleset including legal knees to grounded fighters would be in effect — something that cost “Mighty Mouse” in his first fight with Moraes, though he got his revenge, and captured the promotion’s flyweight title, in the pair’s rematch.
Also in action on Friday, flyweight Muay Thai champ Rodtang will put his title on the line against Edgar Tabares, while Mikey Musumesci defends his grappling title against Osamah Almarwai. In non-title action, Stamp Fairtex faces American Alyse Anderson, while Roberto Soldic and Sage Northcutt are also set to return.
Cageside Press is in Colorado for ONE’s U.S. debut! Full results from Thursday’s official weigh-in can be found below.
