Bellator MMA returns to Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend for its traditional double-header at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena. The first card, Bellator 294, brings with it a women’s flyweight title fight, plus the promotional debut of Sara McMann.
In the second attempted title defense, Liz Carmocuhe puts her flyweight belt on the line in a rematch with DeAnna Bennett to close out the night. The pair first met in 2020, with Bennett suffering an injury in the third that saw her hamstring muscle tear 95% off the bone. Carmouche picked up the submission win that night; neither fighter has lost a bout since.
Also on the card, silver tongued bantamweight Danny Sabatello returns, while former UFC title challenger Sara McMann moves to featherweight for her Bellator debut, where she takes on multi-time title challenger Arelene Blencowe.
