ONE Championship’s Friday Fights 2 card took place on Friday, January 27, 2023, and not surprisingly given it was once again hosted in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, it was a night heavy on Muay Thai action.
There was, in fact, just two mixed martial arts contests on the docket. In the first, opening the card was Jakub Wayman, an American nicknamed “Superjoke” with a 1-0 record, having made his pro debut last year under the Legend FC Thailand banner.
Wayman was paired up with Riccardo Catindig-Stagg, a Brit who was making his pro debut after posting a 3-1 record as an amateur.
The other MMA fight on the night saw Harry Grech (3-0) look to maintain his undefeated record against Iranian ONE Warrior Series alum Arash Mardani.
In main event Muay Thai action, Sangmanee PK.Saenchai faces Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai in a rematch.
