RIZIN Fighting Federation was in action on Sunday (early Sunday for western fight fans) with RIZIN Landmark Vol 4.
The night in Nagoya started out with a string of stoppages, with five straight bouts ending inside the distance. While that pace wouldn’t hold up, there were still a number of entertaining match-ups on the card.
Among the card’s more notable names, veteran Yuki Motoya improved to 32-10 with a unanimous decision victory over the out-matched Kazuma Kuramoto. Another veteran did not fare as well, as Mazakasu Imanari dropped to 39-22 in a decision loss to Chihiro Suzuki.
The main event saw Ren Hiramoto earn a decision over Satoshi Yamasu. The 24-year old is now 2-2 in MMA, but with an extensive kickboxing background (he was runner up in the 2017 K-1 Lightweight World Grand Prix), Hiramoto still has plenty of time to round out as a mixed martial artist.
