Two-time UFC light heavyweight title challenger Alexander Gustafsson will look to right the ship as part of the UFC’s last Pay-Per-View of 2022.
Gustafsson (18-8) will face Ovince St. Preux (26-16) at UFC 282 on December 10, 2022 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. MMA Junkie was first to report news of the booking, which will take place at 205 pounds.
“The Mauler” returned from retirement in 2020, losing a heavyweight contest against former champ Fabricio Werdum. After missing all of 2021, Gustafsson returned to action at UFC London this past July, where he was knocked out by Nikita Krylov. Overall, the Swede has lost his last four fights.
St. Preux recently snapped a two-fight skid of his own, returning to the win column with a split decision victory against Shogun Rua this past May.
