A promising bantamweight pairing has been booked for the UFC’s November 19, 2022 Fight Night card.
Welsh 135lb’er Jack Shore (16-1) will enter “The Matrix” at the event, as he’ll take on Kyler Phillips (10-2). Iridium Sports Agency, who represent Phillips, initially reported the news. Shore subsequently confirmed the booking on his Instagram Story.
Jack “Tank” Shore will be looking to bounce back from the first loss of his career in the fight. After starting his mixed martial arts journey on a 16-0 run as a pro, Shore fell to Ricky Simon in his last outing, ending up submitted in the second round.
Prior to that, Shore had won fights against Timur Valiev and Hunter Azure, among others. A former Cage Warriors bantamweight champ, he began his UFC tenure on a 5-0 run.
Phillips recently got back in the win column himself, defeating Marcelo Rojo by submission at UFC 271. At 4-1 inside the octagon, Phillips’ only loss came in a close Fight of the Night effort against Raulian Paiva, which ended in a majority decision.
The UFC’s November 19, 2022 Fight Night event does not have a venue, location, or broadcast plan officially announced. The following match-ups have been reported for the card thus far:
