The former iKON Fighting Federation, now iKON FC under the ownership of Jorge Masvidal, returned to action in Miami on Friday night with iKON FC 2: Highbaugh vs. Dumas.
In a big test for middleweight prospect SD Dumas, he was paired up with Aaron Highbaugh — who was looking to bounce back from a loss to UFC vet Jared Gooden back in January.
Elsewhere on the card, a couple of names recognizable to UFC fans: Hunter Azure was fighting for the first time since his release from the promotion. Justin Scoggins, meanwhile, had taken his last couple of fights for RIZIN in Japan, but had not fought since 2019.
Also fighting Friday, bare-knuckle boxing vet Uly Diaz, holder of the fastest stoppage in BKFC history. Diaz was fighting for the second time in a matter of weeks, after scoring a submission victory at Titan FC 74 earlier this month.
