Invicta FC returned to action in its home base of Kansas City on Wednesday, March 9, with a flyweight title fight in the main event of Invicta FC 46.
The headliner saw Karina Rodriguez run it back with old foe Daiana Torquato, an immediate rematch put together on short notice when Rodriguez’s original opponent, Ketlen Souza, pulled out of the event.
A number of other familiar names also featured. UFC veteran Milana Dudieva was looking to bounce back from a split decision loss to flyweight champ Rodriguez when she faced off with Denise Gomes. Another former UFC fighter, Danielle Taylor, was also in action, taking on Liz Tracy — who had missed weight for the fight.
Bellator MMA fans, meanwhile, could catch Kristina “Warhorse” Williams in her promotional debut, taking on Flore Hani.
