PFL Challenger Series 3 arrived on Friday, March 4, 2022 with the women’s lightweight division in action.
With the future of Kayla Harrison still up in the air — both the PFL and Bellator MMA seemed to be the front-runners in her free agent sweepstakes — a standout performance from one of the fighters on the card could land them a massive opportunity in the upcoming PFL season.
The addition of Julia Budd, former Bellator women’s featherweight champ, gave Harrison a real challenger should she return to the fold for the 2022 season. Should Harrison jump ship, Budd would likely be the favorite.
Friday’s PFL Challenger Series 3 line-up, meanwhile, featured a couple of familiar names. Olivia Parker had last been seen in Bellator, in a losing effort against top contender and former UFC title challenger Cat Zingano. On Friday, she was paired up with Michelle Montague, who was making her pro debut after going 11-2 as an amateur.
Brazil’s Evelyn Martins, who has gone 2-0 for Titan FC in the last two years, was to take on Jackie Cataline, who would be making her pro debut in the fight. However, with Martins out of the bout, Camee Adams, also making her professional debut, stepped in.
The PFL Challenger Series 3 card takes place on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Full results from the event, airing on Fubo TV, can be found below.
