Mohammed Usman, 32-years-old, 7-2
Pros
- Physically strong
- Good wrestling
- Heavy top position
- Good ground and pound
- Hits hard
Cons
- Questionable chin
- Wild striking
Mohammed Usman is the brother of UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, and he defiantly looks apart. Too many he’s a favorite to win this show and rightfully so. Usman can crack on the feet but is primarily a wrestler.
While Usman is a decent wrestler, his overall takedown ability doesn’t match his look. He’s a big, muscular fighter but isn’t that great of a wrestler considering his build and who his brother is. Once he does get takedowns he’s locked in on top and doesn’t have a problem fighting like that for three rounds however. Usman has the ability to win this show but has to work on a few things as he fights better competition.
