Perez is an interesting prospect standing at 6’5″ and weighing in at the heavyweight limit. The guy can do it all in terms of striking and wrestling/grappling.
Of all the heavyweights in the TUF 30 cast, Perez has the best technical striking. He doesn’t have that heavyweight power but has more of a technical and efficient ability compared to the majority of heavyweights. Perez has an aggressive ground game and sometimes that leads to him losing position. With that said he has the ability to stop fights with ground and pound and submissions. I do like this guy a lot but when a fight isn’t going his way, I question if he can dig deep and pull out the win.
