The third PFL Challenger Series event will focus on the women’s lightweight division.
PFL officials announced in a press release on Tuesday that the women’s 155lb division would make up the entirety of the fights at PFL Challenger Series 3, set to take place on March 4, 2022. The event will take place at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, and air exclusively on Fubo Sports Network.
While match-ups were not announced, the women fighting on March 4 will be:
- Cynthia Vescan (0-0), a French Olympic wrestler who competed at the London Olympic Games in 2012, and a two-time bronze medallist at the European Championships
- Jackie Cataline Surber (0-0), am American wrestler and Olympic trials competitor, also making her pro debut
- 2018 IMMAF world champion Julia Dorny (2-0), whose two wins have both come via TKO
- City Kickboxing’s Michelle Montague (0-0), who has served as a sparring partner for both Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harrison
- Czech Republic’s Martina Jindrova (3-1), who posted a 1-2 record in 2021 and will be making her PFL debut

“On March 4th the women take center stage in The PFL Challenger Series and we couldn’t be more excited,” Ray Sefo, President of Fighter Operations of PFL, was quoted as saying in Tuesday’s press release. “We have seen the women in MMA take the leap into the main event. The PFL is a meritocracy and we cannot wait to further show the world what our women can do in the SmartCage.”
On each edition of the PFL Challenger Series, one fighter will either earn a shot in the 2022 regular season, or be awarded a development path that sets them on a course to fight in a future season.
