Cage Fury FC returned to action on Friday night with CFFC 103, featuring a bantamweight title fight in the main event.
With the vacant 135lb title on the line, the undefeated DeAndre Anderson was set to take on Da’Mon Blackshear, a far more experienced fighter who had competed everywhere from Titan FC to CES MMA to Bellator. An excellent test of Anderson’s skills, in other words.
Heavyweight Anthony Garrett was also in action on Friday, a fighter fans might remember from his infamous contest with Jake Hager. Yes, that Jake Hager fight, the one where the former Jack Swagger repeatedly landed low blows like a bad WWE finish, with the contest being declared a No Contest.
CFFC 103 takes place Friday, November 19 at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. The event will be streamed live via UFC Fight Pass.
