Canadian heavyweight Tanner Boser has his next fight booked.
On Monday, UFC officials announced that Boser (20-8-1) would face Russian Sergei Pavlovich (14-1) at the promotion’s December 4, 2021 event. News of the booking was first reported earlier this month by TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter.
Boser will enter the fight off a win in his last outing, which saw him knock out former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Ovince St. Preux. The victory snapped a two-fight skid for “Bulldozer” Boser, who has posted a 4-3 record inside the octagon to date.
A former Unified MMA heavyweight champion, Boser first joined the promotion in 2019.
Russia’s Pavlovich has won two straight, most recently earning a TKO victory over Maurice Greene. The win, however, came back in 2019; Pavlovich has sat out the entire pandemic thus far.
The UFC’s December 4, 2021 Fight Night event is expected to take place at the Apex arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is headlined by a bantamweight fight between top contenders Jose Aldo and Rob Font.
The following bouts have been reported for the event thus far:
