Roberto Soldic’s next title defense is official.
All fighters hit the scales for the KSW 63 weigh-in on Friday, with welterweight champion Roberto Soldic and challenger Patrik Kincl both successfully making weight for the fight. The bout will be Soldic’s second defense of his 170lb title, despite being on a five-fight winning streak that started with him capturing the belt back from Dricus Du Plessis.
Several of Soldic’s recent efforts have come in non-title affairs, and his last fight came at middleweight. He has one successful defense of the belt, against Krystian Kaszubowski in May 2019.
One fighter was heavy at the KSW 63 weigh-in: Szymon Karolczyk came in at 152lbs for his catchweight bout with Michal Domin. Karolczyk took the fight on just a week’s notice.
