August’s UFC 265 has a lightweight fight added to its line-up.
ESPN was first to report that Bobby Green has been booked against Rafael Fiziev for the Houston card. The event takes place August 7, 2021 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Green (27-11-1) had a three-fight win streak snapped in his last outing. After picking up three consecutive wins over Clay Guida, Lando Vannata, and Alan Patrick to start 2020, he finished the year losing a unanimous decision against Thiago Moises.
Fiziev (9-1) is currently riding a three-fight winning streak of his own. After dropping his octagon debut, Fiziev has put together wins against Alex White, Marc Diakiese, and Renato Moicano. The Moicano fight, Fiziev’s most recent, ended with a knockout, the 28-year old’s first in the UFC.
