Michel “Trator” Prazeres (26-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC)
Lightweight (155lbs): 8-1 (UFC), Missed weight 3x
Welterweight (170lbs): 2-2 (UFC)
Michel Prazeres has been in the UFC for a long time. In fact, Michel has been in the promotion since 2013 but thanks to his inactivity has flown under the radar of most fans (Partially thanks to PED trouble including a suspension).
Michel, who stands at 5’6″ tall with a 67″ reach, has predominately spent his career in the big show at a weight of 155lbs, but thanks to his very muscular build, Prazeres has always struggled to meet the lightweight limit of 156lbs. ‘Trator’ has missed weight three times while fighting at lightweight in the octagon. Including a 2016 win over current welterweight contender Gilbert Burns. After coming in at 161lbs for his 2018 lightweight bout against Des Green, Michel was forced to move up to the welterweight division.
The 39 year old Prazeres has gone 2-1 since moving back up to welterweight, though he last won in November of 2018. Prazeres is now 39 years old, his time in the lightweight division is definitely over, but he is undoubtedly a fighter to look out for at 170lbs.
