Austin Hubbard will stay on the UFC Vegas 24 card this weekend, after all.
MMA Fighting was the first to report that Hubbard will welcome Dakota Bush to the UFC this weekend at UFC Vegas 24. Hubbard was scheduled to welcome another UFC newcomer, Natan Levy; however, Levy pulled out of the fight this past weekend. Bush will step in on a weeks notice.
Hubbard would confirm the news via social media later on Monday.
Bush (8-2) is coming off a highlight head kick knockout of Austin Clem back in January at LFA 98. “Hairy” is riding a two-fight win streak and has gone 5-2 in LFA, only losing to Jaleel Willis and Bryce Logan.
Hubbard (12-5) will look to get back in the win column following a loss to Joe Solecki atUFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar last August. Since entering the UFC in 2019, Hubbard has traded wins and losses and currently holds a 2-3 record inside the promotion.
