Legacy Fighting Alliance returned to UFC Fight Pass on Friday night with its second of two events in the month of February. Once again going down in Park City, Kansas, LFA 98 had a number of rising prospects on the card.
In the main event, a middleweight battle had Josh Fremd lined up against Brazil’s Bruno Oliveira. Fremd had recently joined up with Factory X, and told us ahead of the fight that a key reason for the move was to ensure he wasn’t the best guy in the gym any longer. Going up against the 8-2 Santos, the increased competition in training for Fremd was about to be put to the test.
In the co-main event, a pair of lightweight prospects faced off. Lucas Clay had popularized the rarely-seen “buggy choke” thanks to a pair of slick submissions with the unique move. On Friday, he was paired up with JJ Okanovich, a fighter on a seven-fight win streak who had been denied a contract despite earning a win on Dana White’s Contender Series last time out.
In other words, he’d be extra motivated.
The action was set to kick off at 9PM ET, live on UFC Fight Pass. Check below for full results.
