Norma Dumont stands at 5’7″ tall and has a 67″ reach. On paper, Norma may seem slightly smaller than her upcoming opponent, Ashlee Evans- Smith, but she actually has a larger build. Dumont is a veteran of the Brazillian-based Jungle Fight Promotions where she began her career with two fights in the bantamweight division.
After fighting in a catchweight 141lbs bout in 2017, then another bantamweight bout in 2019, Dumont was called up to the UFC. Norma got an opportunity to fight Megan Anderson back in February of this year in a featherweight bout. Though Norma was finished in the first round, it was very significant because had she won, in such a shallow division, she would have likely received a title shot against double champion Amanda Nunes. For UFC Vegas 15, Norma will be returning to bantamweight in order to take on Ashlee Evans-Smith.
