Ludovit Klein picked up a huge head kick knockout win over Shane Young at UFC 253 from Abu Dhabi.
A short-notice change in opponents had Shane Young matched up with Ludovit Klein at UFC 253 on Saturday. While Klein had missed weight for the featherweight bout, there was a lot to like about the newcomer, who had a winnable match-up against New Zealand’s Young — a talented fighter who had been out well over a year.
Klein was the fighter finding his shots early once the bell sounded to open his bout with Young. He was landing the left kick to the body with ease. Klein was pumping his jab; following that he unleashed with a head kick landing flush, then landed a left-right uppercut, setting Young down as the ref stepped in. Beautiful set up and finish. Young more or less came to after the finish thinking the fight was still going and tried to grab for a leg.

Weight miss or not, that was a huge statement from Ludovit Klein in his debut. There’s little doubt that he can be a player in the 145lb division moving forward.
Official Result: Ludovit Klein def. Shane Young by knockout (Head kick and Punches), Round 1, 1:16
