Jordan Wright is making his debut in the UFC at UFC Vegas 7. Wright was actually on the Contender Series in 2018 but at middleweight. Anthony Hernandez flattened Wright in one round earning himself a contract in a bout that would later be ruled a no-contest due to Hernandez testing positive for marijuana in-competition. Jordan has had the majority of his 11 fights in the middleweight division but has had at least one fight at 205lbs., back in January of 2017. (Though it’s worth mentioning it was his opponent’s professional debut) Jordan is 6’2″ and has a 77″ reach.
Now Jordan is getting a shot in the UFC but in the light heavyweight division instead of the middleweight division against a man in Ike Villanueva, that has had multiple bouts at heavyweight.
