Prediction
Medic has breezed through opponents but he’s been fighting for Alaska FC who are known to employ some less than high-level fighters. Gonzalez has been running through his opposition as well but the level of competition isn’t good there either. In a fight that I’m sure will stay standing I’m more confident in Gonzalez because he’s shown more. Gonzalez switches stances frequently and throws from different angles which may give the younger Medic problem. Gonzalez has also fought hard three-round fights where Medic hasn’t. I’m really not sold on Gonzalez at all due to his age (34), and given he’s a guy that likes to be flashy. With that said he has more tools to win and that includes his grappling if he was to take it there. He looked pretty bad on the mat in the past but lately has competed in jiu-jitsu competitions so strides may have been made.
