Shane “Hurricane” Burgos (13-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC)
Shane Burgos has finished 10 of the 13 opponents that he has beaten in his professional mixed martial arts career. Shane finished five of his opponents by KO/TKO and five opponents by submission. Burgos has tallied three of those finishes while on the UFC’s roster. Burgos has been in one ‘Fight of the Night’ during his UFC career and that came against Charles Rosa back in 2017.
Burgos knows how to land strikes and is very technical and entertaining to watch on the feet. Shane is almost always pushing the action and knows how to finish fights whenever he smells blood in the water. Burgos has the third-highest significant strikes landed in the UFC behind only Justin Gaejthe and Paulo Costa. Burgos is currently riding a three-fight win streak and his last time in the octagon was last November against Makwan Amirkhani, and was able to finish him late in the third round.
