On a night full of early stoppages, Jamahal Hill was not to be outdone, adding a quick finish of his own at UFC Vegas.
Undefeated light heavyweight Jamahal Hill was making his sophomore trip to the octagon this weekend, one of nine products from Dana White’s Contender Series. In his debut back in January, Hill had picked up a win over Darko Stosic. This time out, he’d drawn Klidson Abreu, a former Brave CF champion with a fair bit more experience than Hill himself.
As the fight got underway, Abreu came out quick and pressed the action, but Hill landed a hard right that dropped Abreu. That early knockdown would foreshadow things to come. Abreu looked hurt, but was quick to his feet. However, he understandably looked tentative. Hill now looked to work the jab and mixed in some leg kicks for good measure. Jamahal Hill continued with his jab and mixed in some shots to the body. Hill landed a hard left followed by a crushing right hand; he then landed a knee that crumpled Abreu to end the fight and take the victory. Follow-up strikes were barely necessary.
SWEET DREAMS!! 😴
