Bare Knuckle FC was back in action Saturday night, and we’ve got highlights from the event. BKFC 10 saw the bare knuckle debut of Hector Lombard, former UFC fighter and Bellator MMA middleweight champ.
It also saw quarterfinal action in a 155lb tournament that will crown the promotion’s inaugural champion in the weight class.
In the main event, Lombard and Mundell took some big swings. But surprising many, neither man came out and went full tilt. Rather than brawl, their power shots were measured, allowing them to go the full five rounds. Ultimately, Lombard took home the decision in what was a close fight, with two judges giving him three rounds out of five.
The co-main event, part of the aforementioned 155lb tournament, saw former UFC fighter Jim Alers pick up another bare knuckle win. The majority decision victory was only marred by the fact that it was a majority decision on one scorecard, with a 47-47 being handed down in a fight that most saw Alers as clearly winning.
