ONE Championship: Edge of Greatness saw Nong-O Gaiyanghadao retain his bantamweight Muay Thai championship, and Colbey Northcutt make a successful debut for the promotion.
ONE Championship’s latest Singapore card saw Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defend his Muay Thai title, Colbey Northcutt make her successful debut for the promotion, and Amir Khan steal a close one against Ev Ting. The card went down Friday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, and while it lacked some of the promotion’s bigger stars, the inclusion of the admittedly green Northcutt was enough to turn heads.
Brother Sage did not fare well in his own promotional debut (and remains on the mend following a vicious knockout at the hands of Cosmo Alexandre). However big sis Colbey fared much better against a far less experienced opponent in Putri Padmi. She went the distance with Padmi, putting on a kickboxing clinic while also proving she has skills on the mat.
