KSI stole a decision Saturday night against Logan Paul, in a fight that will hopefully put the rivalry between the two to bed.
Los Angeles, CA — If you were an old school boxing fan, you probably felt Logan Paul vs. KSI 2 was an affront to the sport. If you accepted the fight as a fun experiment and ultimately meaningless, or at least just a cash grab, perhaps it was less grating. But either way, it was impossible to overlook the fact that America’s Logan Paul and Brit rapper KSI packed the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, for what amounted to a big-time version of the old FOX Celebrity Boxing show.
In the end, Paul wound up losing a split decision after knocking down KSI, only to connect with illegal blows shortly after, which cost him a couple of points. The bout got a standing ovation from fans who cared more about the celebrities than the sport, and likely from parents thrilled they could finally go home.
No exaggeration to the fans these two brought. A good portion of the crowd looks to be under 18 with chaperone moms & dads throughout.
Plenty of fans who look to be in their early 20s also.Point: The target audience of Generation Z has been reached.#KSILoganPaul2
