While Bellator 227 and Bellator: Dublin were unfolding in Ireland, the stars of Bellator 228 in Los Angeles Saturday were hitting the scales Friday. The official weigh-in went down Friday morning, while a ceremonial affair took place a few hours later, with fighters facing off.
All the key players made weight for the event, which will see the second half of the featherweight grand prix opening round unfold. Plus, Lyoto Machida takes on Gegard Mousasi, in a fight that will go down as the last of the night to allow for the grand prix selection process to take place.
