UFC 240 is official, as is the main event between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar. Catch a glimpse of this morning’s official weigh-in below!
Edmonton, AB — The UFC returned to Canada this week for its second show of 2019 in the Great White North. UFC 240 was set to go down in Edmonton, Alberta at the Rogers Place on Saturday, with a featherweight title fight in the main event. That long-gestating tilt would see 145lb champ Max Holloway finally throw down with Frankie Edgar.
Would ‘Blessed’ have the answer to Edgar’s pressure, wrestling, and heart? How would Holloway look against ‘The Answer’ after his first loss in years at UFC 236, albeit up a weight class at lightweight?
All twenty-two fighters from the eleven fight card hit the scales Friday morning for the official UFC 240 weigh-ins. And for the most part, it was a fairly orderly affair. A handful of fighters had to weigh in behind the towel, but both the main event, and co-main event between Cris Cyborg and Felicia Spencer was official soon enough. All fighters made weight, most early in the window.
