Invicta FC 35 goes down Friday, with a number one contender’s bout for the flyweight division in the main event.
Thursday, all fighters throwing down at Friday’s Invicta FC 35 hit the scales ahead of fight night. The card, taking place in Kansas City, Kansas at the Memorial Hall, goes down Friday night, with a flyweight number one contender’s fight in the main event. That fight sees DeAnna Bennett, an Ultimate Fighter alum, throw down with Karina Rodriguez. The winner will go on to face champ Vanessa Porto down the line.
Both fighters made weight, but that was not the case for other combatants on the card. Vivaiane Pereira, Faith McMah, and Kelly D’Angelo all missed weight for their bouts. All three will be fined 25% of their purse as a result.
