The latest PPV offering from the UFC had all fighters hitting the scales Friday morning — who made weight, and who struggled, at the UFC 237 weigh in?
UFC 237 goes down in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday night. The PPV card is a curious one, and presents a UFC first: the first time a strawweight fight has headlined a PPV event for the promotion. Also on the card are some of the biggest names in Brazilian MMA, including Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, Thiago Alves, and Little Nog. Plus UFC legend B.J. Penn, still looking for his first win in years.
Check below for full results from Friday morning’s weigh-in!
While both the main and co-main event fighters hit the scales without issue on Friday, one former title challenger missed badly. That was Bethe Correira, who blew past the 136lb bantamweight limit for non-title fights. She clocked in at 141lbs, and was not given additional time to make weight.
