LFA and Bellator veteran James Wallace will get his shot at the UFC when he takes on Joseph Solecki this summer on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
The big hit show, Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, is back for a third season this summer. Contracts have been sent out and many fights have already been confirmed. Sources have now confirmed to Cageside Press that a lightweight bout between James Wallace and Joseph Solecki will go down on July 9.
Born in Horn Lake, Mississippi, and now living in Robbin, Georgia Wallace is 26-years-old. Wallace had a lengthy career as an amateur winning multiple titles, going 16-4 before switching to pro in 2015. He splits camps between American Top Team and Cole Millers Martial Arts and Fitness.
Wallace has fought for regional promotions to big promotions like V3 Fights, LFA, and Bellator MMA. Wallace is 9-2 as a professional and has a 100% finish rate being a pro. With only two losses “Jesse James” is currently on a four-fight win streak.
Standing across from Wallace on July 9 will be lightweight Joseph Solecki. He lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, and trains out of local gym Port City Sports Performance. The 25-year-old has a pro record of 7-2 after going 5-0 as an amateur.
Solecki won two titles as an amateur and went pro in October of 2016. He’s fought for some good regional promotions like Ring of Combat and Cage Fury Fighting Championship which has both been feeder leagues to the UFC. Solecki does have two losses but to solid opposition and now is on a two-fight win streak.
