Combate Americas has announced four more fights for their Combate Reinas event on April 25 in Los Angeles.
Combate Americas has announced several more fights for their event at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on April 25. Several opponents have been determined for previously announced fighters on the main card and the only bouts that appear left to be scheduled are the preliminaries.
At atomweight, Paulina “Firefox” Granados will returning to action against Gloria Bravo in featured action on the main card. One of the most visible fighters in the promotion, Granados was absent in 2018 while she was part of the first season of The Titan Games on NBC as an alternate. She will be looking to regain momentum against Bravo who returns to the promotion for the first time since 2017.
Erick “Ghost Pepper” Gonzalez, fresh off a first round TKO earlier this month, will be making a quick turnaround against “The Korean Gangster” Won Sik Park. Gonzalez is currently tied with Rafa Garcia with five wins in the division and a victory would set him apart. Park made his promotional debut last year and will be looking to make it two straight with the company.
José “Froggy” Estrada will be looking to get back into the win-column as he faces undefeated Adrian Guzman in marquee action. “Froggy” has been part of Combate Americas since the beginning of his professional career and has had several impressive performances since moving down to 145 last year. Similar to Park, Guzman will be seeking an upset in his second appearance in the promotion.
In preliminary action, 20-year-old prospect Oscar “Jacare” Suarez will look to get back in the win column as he takes on “Malicious” Mikey Reyes. Suarez was previously booked to fight for the promotion in Tucson on March 29 before the fight fell apart, and the fight with Reyes was made for Los Angeles. Reyes is looking to notch his third victory in a row and fourth overall in the promotion.
The promotion has already announced the main event featuring Melissa “Super Mely” Martinez and Caroline “Taz” Gallardo. The co-main event will feature Kyra “Mogwai” Batara taking on Angela Magaña in strawweight action.
