UFC 234 goes down Saturday (Sunday local time) in Melbourne, Australia. Taking place at the Rod Laver Arena, the event will see a middleweight title scrap atop the card, as champ Robert Whittaker defends his title on home turf against Kelvin Gastelum. It’s a big night for the 185lb division, as in the co-main event, ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya will take on the legendary Anderson Silva. Silva, the most decorated middleweight in UFC history and one of the all-time greats, is looking at one last shot at gold with a win over a fighter many see as a younger version of himself.
Can Silva capture one last moment of glory? Or will it be Adesanya’s time to shine? And in the main event, will ‘The Reaper’ continue to collect names, or will Gastelum’s “mission for gold” be successful?
