Alen Amedovski thanked Italian fans after his fight at Bellator 211 on Saturday — but apparently he had no desire to spend much time with them, finishing his bout in just twelve seconds.
Undefeated Macedonian middleweight Alen Amedovski made his return to the cage Saturday night at Bellator 211. Going down in Genoa, Italy, Amedovski put his perfect 7-0 record on the line against France’s Ibrahim Mane. Mane’s 7-1 record was comparable, though he was making his debut in Bellator after taking his last couple of fights under the EFC banner.
If you blinked in this one, you missed it. And we’ll admit, first time around, we blinked. Amedovski pushed Ibrahim back early, to the outer circle. He fired a combo, with a left missing, but a right landing right on the side of the jaw, snapping Mane’s head back. A left hand followed, grazing the bridge of the nose, but it was the right that did the damage, and sent Mane crashing to the canvas. Ref Dan Miragliotta put a stop to it immediately, and while Mane later protested, the stoppage certainly looked clean.

It was Amedovski’s eighth straight win, and all eight have come by knockout or TKO. Impressive, to say the least. With two fights under the Bellator banner, the previously unknown fighter could be poised to do big things as the promotion’s middleweight division heats up.
