Next month’s ONE Championship card in China, Pinnacle of Power, has its main event set with Xiong Jing Nan vs. Laura Balin.
On Wednesday, Asia’s ONE Championship announced the main event for its upcoming Pinnacle of Power. Hosted in Macau, China, the June show will feature women’s strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan defending her newly won title against Argentina’s Laura “La Gladiadora” Balin. In addition to that title fight, a second championship bout is planned for the card. That will feature flyweight champ Adriano Moraes attempting to unify the title, as he faces interim flyweight champ Geje Eustaquio.
China’s Xiong Jing Nan (11-1), a.k.a. ‘The Panda,’ is in the midst of a six fight win streak. She captured the strawweight championship against Tiffany Teo, in something of an upset at Kings of Courage in January. The bout was just her second in ONE Championship, as Xiong previously fought in Kunlun Fight.

Laura Balin (10-2) will be making her debut in ONE at Pinnacle of Power. She’ll enter the night on a four fight win streak of her own.
Champ Xiong Jing Nan was quoted in a press release on Wednesday as saying that “winning the title is one of the biggest moments of my career. I am proud to represent China on the global stage of martial arts and plan to successfully defend the belt against any opponent. Laura Balin is a worthy challenger, but the outcome of this match will be one where I am the winner.”
In men’s flyweight action, meanwhile, two-time flyweight champion and current title holder Adriano Moraes will look to unify the title against Geje Eustaquio, who holds interim gold. Eustaquio (10-6) won the interim belt with a win over former champ Kairat Akhmetov in January. Moraes (17-2), meanwhile, is undefeated in his last four.
ONE Championship: Pinnacle of Power takes place at the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China on Saturday, June 23.
