UFC London, the promotion’s annual trip to the O2 Arena, arrives this weekend, with all fighters hitting the scales on Friday.
This year’s rendition of the show is a key one for the featherweight division, as the winner of Movsar Evloev vs. Lerone Murphy, headlining the card, is widely expected to be the next challenger for champ Alexander Volkanovski. The fight sees two undefeated standouts collide: someone’s 0 has got to go, someone will fight for gold.
Michael “Venom” Page also features on the card, returning to welterweight in a bit of a puzzling match-up against Sam Patterson. “MVP” is 3-1 in the UFC, and has been splitting his time between welterweight and middleweight. A former Bellator star who fought for interim gold in 2022 in that organization, Page has plenty of star power, but at 38 has a limited window to make it to the top.
