
Poland’s KSW was back in action on Saturday, March 14 with KSW 116 featuring a welterweight title fight at the Arena Gorzów in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland.
Champion Adrian Bartosiński was looking to make the fifth defense of his 170lb title in the night’s main event, which had him paired up with Madars Fleminas. After winning the title in 2023 against Artur Szczepaniak, Bartosiński had notched title defenses against the highly touted Salahdine Parnasse and Andrzej Grzebyk, among others.
Latvia’s Fleminas was getting the title shot after halting the five-fight win streak of Tymoteusz Łopaczyk.
