UFC Seattle arrives later this month, and it has added one more fight to its line-up.
In a short-notice addition first reported Friday, the Fight Night event will see bantamweight Ricky Simon (22-7) face off against Adrian Yanez (17-6).
The fan-pleasing fight was first reported by Eurosport’s Marcel Dorff, with Simon, having teased all of an hour earlier that fight news was coming, confirming the match-up. Yanez also confirmed the booking on social media.
The event takes place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington on March 28, 2026 and is headlined by middleweights Israel Adesanya and Joe Pyfer.
Simon has fought a who’s who of the bantamweight division and holds wins over Merab Dvalishvili, Jack Shore, Raphael Assuncao, Javid Basharat and others. He’ll be looking to bounce back from a loss to Raoni Barcelos in the fight.
Yanez was red-hot when he entered the UFC in 2022, rattling off five straight victories. He’s just 1-3 since, and will be competing for the first time since a December 2024 split decision loss against Daniel Marcos.
