UFC Mexico City: Moreno vs. Kavanagh Post-Fight Press Conference Live Stream

Former two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno returned to action at UFC Mexico City, headlining in his home country once again.

Saturday’s main event wasn’t the fight originally expected, however. Moreno had been booked against a ranked opponent in Asu Almabayev, a fight that if nothing else featured two highly-ranked fighters. With Almabayev out of the fight, however, the UFC was left scrambling for an opponent. And as it turned out, they couldn’t seem to find one in the top 15.

Instead, it was prospect Lone’er Kavanagh answering the call, despite coming off a loss against Miles Johns. England’s Kavanagh had been undefeated prior to the Johns setback, and was still considered a flyweight of the future. He was going to try to make the future the present against the always dangerous Moreno in the UFC Mexico City main event at the Arena CDMX on Saturday.

In the co-main event, it was Chito Vera of Ecuador looking to snap a three-fight skid when he took on David Martinez. Also on the card, veteran King Green was paired up with Daniel Zellhuber in a highly anticipated lightweight match-up.
