Ernesta Kareckaite needed a new opponent for this Saturday’s UFC Mexico City, and she now has a rather interesting one.

With Sofia Montenegro out, undefeated women’s flyweight Regina Tarin (7-0) is stepping in to face Kareckaite (6-1-1). Due to the extremely short nature of the fight, the bout has been moved up to a 130lb catchweight.

News of the change in opponents and weight was first reported by Eurosport’s Marcel Dorff.

Tarin, a Mexican national who carries the nickname “Kill Bill,” announced a tryout with the WWE earlier this year. She spent several days at the WWE Performance Center in January, noting that she was the only Mexican with a tryout at that time.

On the MMA side of things, Tarin holds a notable win over Bellator, PFL, and Invicta FC vet Kaytlin Neil from last July. Just 21-years old, six of Tarin’s seven wins as a pro have come inside the distance.

Kareckaite is 1-1 under the UFC banner, and enters UFC Mexico City off a victory over Nicolle Caliari.
